Friday, October 10th:
Guests arriving on Friday evening are invited to participate in a Welcome Wagon Ride, and a Family Campfire! Happening from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, the wagon ride starts at the office finishes at the Riverside Campfire Pit.
Saturday, October 11th:
Join in on the Saturday fun, by participating in our annual Howard Clark Fundraising Golf Tournament, or one of the many leisure or recreational activities happening across the grounds. We are offering meals all day long, with a special BBQ lunch to kick off the tournament.
Join our Street Team Saturday evening for a movie night at Irwin Chapel (movie is “The King of Kings“), with popcorn, snacks and drinks for sale. And if you’re looking for a late night snack, the Connexion Cafe will be offering half-price ice cream after the movie!
Sunday, October 12th:
Celebrate at chapel Sunday morning at 10:30am, You’ll hear from Fair Havens CEO/Director Bryan Bylsma and music ministry by Paul Elliot. Childcare will be provided, so please register your children in advance by emailing office@fairhavens.org.
Following chapel a delicious Thanksgiving Lunch will be hosted at Riverside Dining Hall.
Finish off the day by participating in as many activities as you like, near the pavilion and across the grounds. The Connexion Cafe will be open in the afternoon so stop by, grab a warm drink and a snack, and enjoy the beautiful fall afternoon with family and friends!

The Hallelujah Party, Owen Sound

Hosted by Trinity Church in Owen Sound this annual event is a joyful alternative to traditional Halloween celebrations. Families from across the community will gather in the church parking lot, where volunteers will decorate their trunks and hand out candy to local children in a safe, welcoming, and uplifting environment. Alongside the “trunk-or-treat” portion, we are planning to offer Hot Chocolate and host two booths inside the school building:
1) A Food Donation Booth, supporting the Salvation Army with a gift raffle.
2) An Operation Christmas Child Booth, as our church is a part of this campaign every year.

The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle

The Santa Shuffle is a 5km Fun Run and 1km Elf Walk for all ages and skill levels. Participants fundraise throughout the season to make a difference in their community. On event day, participants are encouraged to wear their funkiest festive running attire for a day of laughter and fun.
